Week 22
Week 22
Week 22:
- This week Wrekker is getting so big! He is the size of an ear of corn! I have definitely noticed a change on the scale the last few weeks and he is growing 6 oz. each week! Yikes! Good for him, unfortunate for mommy! :)
- My belly is hard everywhere. I never imagined it really growing but boy has it ever! I am starting to get very swollen and by the end of the day my feet hurt so bad! Kason is so sweet to make sure I am always taken care of and he does such a great job.
- We started out our weekend with lots of fun plans! We made homemade pizza and orange smoothies and went and had plans to sleep on Kasons parents tramp because they are out of town. We laid there for a while and looked at the moon and stars. It was the weekend of the super moon. Meaning that the moon was like 14% bigger and 30% brighter than normal and would only be like that one night this year. It truly was huge and so mesmerizing to look at! We ended up sleeping inside because it was more cozy on this pregnant ladys body. We still had so much fun! I sure will miss all the spontaneous adventures my sweet husband and I have when our sweet Wrekker gets here.
- Sunday night Kason and I went on a long motorcycle ride so we could watch the big moon come out. It was so perfect and so peaceful. I only had to stop and pee in the middle of the road twice ha ha ha which is pretty impressive if youve ever been pregnant and rode on the back of a motorcycle!
- I forgot to mention the last few weeks how spoiled Ive been to have Kason working hauling between the freeway and Washington fields and so we get to have lunch time together almost every day. It has been so fun! We eat at subway somedays because it is easier for him to park there but most days he just comes home! I sure wish this could last forever. Soon they will be done hauling and so he wont be so close to our house at lunch time.
- I did a good job cleaning our house this week. I cleaned and organized all the cupboards in the kitchen and made space for bottles and sippy cups and bibs and all those fun things we will soon have.
- I went shopping with Chianne and my mom because they were trying to decorate Josh and Chis house. I cant wait to see what it looks like! I joined in and bought some decor for our downstairs that I have been wanting. It looks so cozy and warm now! I sure do love our house and Im so blessed that we are so fortunate to have a home that is ours.
- This week my sweet Great Grandma Bowler died. She is my Dads grandma. She has been sick for quite some time and so it is truly a blessing but my heart aches for my Grandma Faught and Aunt Annette as they endure this sad time. We loved the precious memories we shared with her and she will be missed so much. I couldnt help but wonder if she has seen or held our precious Wrekker now that they are both together in heaven as he waits to join our sweet family.

Week 10
Week 10
Week 10:
- Baby Prisbrey is the size of a prune! So much has been developed and we are almost done creating new organs and body parts!
- We started off our weekend by going camping for Easter at the Valley of Fire. We love going down there with my moms whole family for Easter and Halloween. We are excited and sad to say this will be our only trip to the Valley of Fire this year because our sweet Baby Prisbrey is due the same weekend as our Halloween camp out! We left Friday afternoon and came home Sunday morning. It was warm but so perfect! I love sleeping in our little tent with Kason! Life is so fun!
- My handsome brother and his cute girlfriend got engaged! He had her ring as one of the egg prizes and so she went to claim her prizes and my grandma handed her the ring box and she of course wasnt thinking anything about it and so it was funny to see josh hiding behind her getting on and off one knee as she kept moving on to the next prize ha ha ha it ended up working perfectly and she of course said yes! Her ring is beautiful!
- Sunday after camping we came back home and unpacked and showered and headed over to the Prisbrey home to celebrate Easter with them. Kiley and her family were down and Kade and Sydney came over too! We had a yummy dinner and then Kelton and Kelli put on a huge egg hunt at the park by their house! It was so fun! The kids loved seeing all the eggs! Grayson would stop and eat the candy from each one before even caring about finding another egg ha ha ha! We are so grateful for the fun and memories we shared!
- I was only sick a few times this week which makes me excited that maybe this nasty spell is almost over?! I was pretty uncomfortable and sick while camping but I think it was mostly because it was hot and different circumstances.
- I had Friday and Monday off of school for Easter Break! Mmm I sure love these breaks from school but this was our VERY last one! Eek! I hope I survive all of April and May without a break! :)
- I had my first craving meltdown! I love cheddar fries! Yes, like the ones from elementary school snack shack! I used to see them occasionally at Walmart and lately I havent! One day I made Kason go to every Walmart within a 30 mile radius and still no luck! Ha ha ha ha poor fella :) He is a good man! Have I said that before?! :) Anyway, so I ordered some off Amazon. Unfortunately you cant just order one bag... So I ordered like 8... Ah! Dont judge me!! I wish I was brave enough to post the picture of my ridiculous self hugging all right bags as they arrived! My sweet husband Im sure will use it as blackmail one day!
- We went to our second ultrasound on Monday! That was so exciting! We sat our babys sweet nose and hands and toes and it just kept kicking and waving and moving around! It was so breathtaking and perfect! I couldnt even fathom how special it was that a perfect little baby was moving around at that minute in my belly! The heartbeat was 179 (hmm.. Maybe a girl because its so fast?). They said we could come back on April 29th and they will be able to tell us the gender! That is so soon! We are so excited!
- April Fools was on Monday so after our appointment I text my mom, dad, and nat as said its a BOY! Nat was like noooooo! And my mom was so excited and they said are you sure?! And I said yes 97% sure! So they asked a few more questions and I said the Dr. was also 97% sure that was an April Fools joke! Hahahaha they were NOT happy with me! :) They told me it would be a boy now because I teased them!
- Kason has had awful allergies this week! I feel so helpless and bad for him! He is so tough though and never complains! I have never had allergies and so I dont quite feel his pain but it looks miserable! I sure hope they leave him alone soon! :)
- Favorite moment of the week: Wednesday we went out to dinner and ice cream! We went to Pancho and Leftys. Ive only been there since being pregnant, so Im sure I will really love it tons more when Im not! It was fun to get out of the house and be out with Kason. I sure do love that boy so much!
- Our 1 Year Anniversary is in less than two weeks! Where has this year gone! How wonderful and special it has been to us each and every single day!

Week 28
Week 28
Week 28:
- This week Baby Wrekker is a little more than 2.5 pounds and almost 16 inches long! It is crazy to think there is a 16 inch baby squirming around in this big belly of mine. I am only at 9 pounds gained since I found out I was pregnant. I havent decided if that is good or bad. Everyone keeps telling me I look incredibly small for being 28 weeks pregnant...Which you would think makes me feel fabulous, but then my brain starts telling me that I must be doing something wrong and maybe that is why Wrekker is too small...
- This weekend Kason let me buy an old banged up desk on the online yard sale page for $20. Ever since my mom came and we busted out our sewing machines I decided no seemstress deserves to sew on a fold out plastic table.... ha ha ha. We brought our desk home and I had it sanded and painted in a few hours! Kason was a sweetheart and did most of the sanding since my big huge belly tends to get in the way of, well, everything! We painted it coral pink! EEEK! I know! It is ADORABLE and looks so perfect in my sewing/guest room. I guess I need to officially learn to sew now that I am legit right?
- Monday, was my first official day back at school. This is the week that teachers come before school starts next week. We had meetings, meetings, and more meetings. I spent a lot of time here after school and at night because we literally didnt even have time to work in our rooms, that is how ridiculous our meetings were! Part of our dress code is that we cant wear open toed shoes, so on my first day back I tried to squeeze into my flats (for the first time all summer) and I wore them gracefully for a few hours and then seriously couldnt walk anymore. I have fat feet syndrome....do you think Dr.s will write notes for things like that? ha ha ha I think I am going to ask at our appointment this week!
- Tuesday, we went to our 28 week appointment. From here on our is when our monitoring on Wrekker starts to make sure that he is keeping up in his size and weight. The doctor is nuts and said that really any baby born after 28 weeks is totally fine..... ha ha ha I almost died! I am ready to have this baby... but not this week! :) We had to do our glucose test while we were there. We scheduled it for 8am because we both were supposed to be at work today. The test took an hour, you had to drink this orange drink and just wait it out until the hour was up. The drink itself wasnt even gross, but a few minutes into it, I started feeling really sick. I thought I was going to pass out. I just kept pacing the floor and Kason Im sure just kept putting up with me. Then we had to draw blood and get a tetnis shot.....yuck! I am such a baby. I hate shots! I think I almost would rather feel every inch of this baby come out of me, than know they are sticking a needle in me for the epidural! Our glucose results came back just fine and Wrekker showed some good improvements! We got to see his cute little face in the ultrasound. I cant stop looking at it. I PRAY he looks just like Kason. My heart will just melt if he is even half as handsome as my sweet husband.
- I think this week I started having my first meet and greet with Braxton Hicks. My belly would get so hard and be so uncomfortable. Sometimes I feel like my belly doesnt grow fast enough for the big guy inside of it! I know real contractions will be much worse, but these have been very unpleasant the last few days.

Week 33
Week 33
Week 33:
- This week our handsome baby boy is the size of a cantaloupe ! I can feel my belly getting so big! He has the hiccups all the time which makes me feel so bad! I hope he isnt miserable!
- I am really loving Dr. Pepper and Milk Duds. Which are two very unhealthy cravings! I try to be good about it! I have only gained 13 pounds so far so that isnt too bad!
- We didnt do a whole lot this weekend because Kason has been sick. He has been trying not to miss any days of work and so he was pretty exhausted from being sick all week and working so hard. I hate when he doesnt feel good.
- Monday, I woke up feeling so sick. I caught this nasty cold that Kason has had and I was trying so hard to get ready for work but I had a fever and I finally just decided I wasnt going to go so I took my first sick day. I felt sad because I knew it would take one of my maternity days but I really had no choice. It felt nice to rest and take it easy.
- Tuesday, I went back to school and before I left at 3:45 I started having really strong contractions. I started timing them because I could tell they were really close together. They were about 5 minutes apart. I went home and laid down and still was having them even two hours later. I took baths and tried to sit or walk or lay to try and ease the pain but they were horrible. Finally, around 8pm they were about 2 minutes apart. We called the Dr. and they told us to come right into labor and delivery. WEIRD! We got in the car and drove there a little unsure about what was gonna unfold that night. We were monitored throughout the night and they eventually told us the reason my body was having contractions was because I was passing kidney stones! In case being 9 months pregnant isnt awful enough ha ha ha. We got home early in the morning and we decided we shouldnt miss work since I has the day before and so we toughed it out. False Alarm # 1 and I hope it is the only one! :)
- Wednesday, my mom and dad brought us dinner which was so sweet of them. They had it warming on the stove when we walked in the door from work. It was chicken noodle soup and so delicious! They are way too good to us!
- Thursday, it is officially RODEO night! We have been so excited all week! I love that Kason gets so excited about the rodeo. It makes it so much fun. We get there right as the gates open and we will be the last ones to leave when it is over. Tonight we had cement seats two rows in front of where Kelli and Kelton sit which isnt bad. It was the perfect temperature and we had so much fun!

Mid Week Randoms
Mid Week Randoms
Im back!! Sort of, kind of, I really hope so! I have missed the blogging world (besides some great giveaways here and there, tell your friends!). Between moving, getting a new house put together, making trips back home, and enjoying my babies I stay super busy!
I thought I would write about some mid-week randoms, then I realized it was Thursday but thats okay, right?
-- Hudson is now 17 months old and is officially weaned from nursing! It was time and he did great, still has a few moments but has done so much better than I thought. I just quit cold turkey and that is what worked for us!
-- We have been living in our new house, in a new state for about 4 months now and we are still getting adjusted. I hope to post some house pictures soon. Whats the best way to take house pictures? I feel like anytime I take them , they just arent blog worthy, ha. I will say I havent done a whole lot of decorating and splurging because we know this is not "home" but just temporary!
-- Has this not just been a rainy, gloomy summer or what? I feel like it is always rainy and cloudy in WV so that is why we head back to KY about 1 time during the week and on the weekend!
-- Brody Luke has learned how to ride his bike without training wheels this summer, yay! He also finished his first summer of tee-ball where he did an awesome job!
-- I post a lot on IG so follow me there, if you would like! Lea_Liz
Here is to hopes that I can start blogging again and adding some pictures!!

Week 9
Week 9
Week 9:
- Baby Prisbrey is the size of a green olive this week! Its kind of a funny story because I told Kason how green olives were a stupid comparison because we dont cook or drink green olives and so I wasnt going to put it on my chalkboard! So instead we said baby is one inch long!
- This week has been probably my worst week ever for sickness! Man I just am so nauseous all the time! I have lost a total of 6 pounds so far and I just dont ever want anything to eat!
- I have really loved eating lunchables, blue Gatorade, and zone bars. I guess that doesnt make me a completely horrible mother right? Im just glad I can eat wen I can!
- Monday I took my first pregnancy sick day! I was up all night and my belly was hurting so badly! It was just so bloated and I couldnt get comfortable at all! Kason was so sweet to sit with me on the bathroom floor while I bathed. I finally got to sleep and when I woke up I felt exactly like I had the night before! I got ready and went to school and told them I just couldnt do it so they got me a sub. I feel like being pregnant is the lamest excuse for sick days ever but I hope they understand!
- We are getting ready to go to the Valley of Fire camping this weekend so we have been packing! We are excited!
- I have started going to spinning classes at the Washington Community Rec Center because Kason got us two free memberships :) I knew there must be one perk to his lovely job! I love it! I have always loved spinning but it has been so nice and I feel so good after! I have to be careful because I just get so paranoid Im working too hard and yet not working hard enough for a workout, its tough for your brain to find a happy medium!
- I know this is crazy but I love drinking my water through a straw! I told Kason it tastes better and I drink more during the day... He thinks Im on the verge of being certifiably crazy! :) but hey, whatever gets the job done right?!
- Favorite moment of the week: Kason and I went to Fiesta Fun and had such a fun time! We enjoy going there but it was fun to see him enjoy blowing off some stress in the batting cages. I hit a round and then we hit a basket of golf balls on the range! His clubs were too tall for me, next time we will take mine too! Then he was so sweet he let me spend all his money like a little kid in the arcade! Im a sucker for the arcade! :)

Week 16
Week 16
Week 16:
- This week we have decided to share our sweet baby boys name with the world! That way we can stop calling him "baby, or him". Kason and I are really excited about the name. It is definitely different. It was weird one day we were talking about names way before we even thought about being pregnant and we came up with this one.. and ever since we have loved it! Here it is...
Wrekker Kase Prisbrey
- If anyone makes fun of it you will need to take that up with us personally, because youre secretly only jealous you didnt think of it first! :)
- This week was a huge week for baby Wrekker because his little ears have finally developed to the point where he can hear us. I have been extra careful to make sure Kason and I dont say anything bad ha ha ha we will see how long that lasts! I also try to sing in the shower and Kason even makes sure Wrekker can hear him when he has something to say about mom being crazy!
- This week we finally start to feel healthy and we are doing much better than last week!
- I feel like I have been eating a lot lately. It is freaking me out! I know you arent technically supposed to eat for two, however, some meals I feel like I accidentally did! I guess those 6 pounds I lost in Trimester I are going to come back sooner than we thought!
- This week we ordered some old vintage signs for the nursery! I cant wait for them to arrive! One of them is the main color inspiration so I cant wait to see it so I can go get paint samples!
- Josh and Chianne have decided that they are getting married on May 23rd! That is in almost two weeks and so I went down this week to help them make some invitations. They turned out really cute. I think I didnt realize how much my mom did for me and our wedding until I am now on the other side watching. I am so grateful for her and hope she realizes how amazing her children think she is.
- This week Kason and some of his friends from work wanted to go bowling. I decided I would tag along to watch. They are going to start on the bowling league in a few weeks and it was fun to get to know them and watch them all bowl a few games! I am glad Kason has something fun to do one night a week, I feel like I am so boring and so this will be so fun to go watch him and let him share his wonderful personality with the rest of the world!
- This weekend we decided to move the couches together and make a fort in the living room. We love making forts and this one wasnt our best, but it was still fun to sleep in it. Yikes, except I learned the hard way that maybe pregnant ladies SHOULD NOT sleep on the ground. I really was quite miserable when we woke up. It didnt help that we had to pick a shoulder to sleep on for the whole night because our fort was tiny.. ha ha ha we definitely need to upgrade our fort making tactics for the next coming months!
- Mothers Day was on Sunday. We got our moms some gift cards to Red Mountain Spa for a massage and lunch! I was so jealous! This was my first mother-to-be, Mothers Day and it was so special! Kason is so sweet and made sure I felt important all day.
- Friday night we went to Natilyns Wizard of Oz Play. She was a munchkin and a wicked witch. She did a wonderful job! It was fun to watch her because I was the munchkin mayor when I was younger, except she didnt look near as ridiculous as I did back then!

Week 30
Week 30
Week 30:
- Can you believe we are at WEEK 30? We basically have less than 10 weeks to go! Yikes! This week Wrekker is over 17 inches tall and almost 3.5 pounds!
- On Thursday, Kason called me and told me that he had won tickets on the radio. He is such a smarty pants he always is winning us things on the radio. This time they were tickets to the huge Motocross Races in Salt Lake City. This is the first time they have had them in Utah and it is supposedly like the Superbowl of motocross for the weekend... ha ha ha I didnt care WHAT we were doing I was just so excited to get out of town! Friday morning we got all packed up so we could leave the SECOND I got home from school! It was perfect! I always say how much fun we have together, but I mean it, we have a blast every second of the whole trip no matter what we are doing! We got to our Hotel (after peeing in each city on the way up...) and we stayed in South Jordan. They told us we were on floor 5. We went up and opened the windows and literally right outside our big window was the South Jordan temple all lit up and so beautiful! I was so tired from a crazy two days of hurdling kindergartners and so I was kind of a bum. I was surprised I stayed awake until 10. We woke up early and had breakfast and then got ready to go to the race track. Kason was so excited and that made me so excited! We had a lot of fun and we both really enjoyed watching the races! I started to get really hot and I think everyone was like what is this big pregnant lady doing here?! We were there from almost 10:30-4 and so after the last 450 race Kason took me back to the hotel. I felt guilty because there was one more race, but he was so sweet and didnt even care. One of his mission companions was coming from Idaho to meet us for dinner with his girlfriend and Kason was so excited! He hadnt seen him since he left the mission. We met Marcus and Andrea at Macaroni Grill in downtown salt lake and talked and laughed with them for a while. It was really nice to meet both of them!
- Sunday, we got the late checkout and had breakfast and soaked in the hot tub. We headed home around one and stopped and did some shopping on the way. We even ate at buffalo wild wings which was yummy! We were both so sad, we didnt want our vacation to end! We had a fun drive home (stopping in each city to pee) and then procrastinated bedtime as long as we could before Monday snuck up on us!
- Monday, Kason had a dentist appointment and afterwords he went to his grandpas to say hi. Somehow he got roped into finishing the big roof project and so I went and sat with him while him and his grandpa worked for hours on the roof. I felt bad, Kason was super sore and tired but is so sweet and self-less and worked so hard for his grandpa. I love that he is such a hard worker. He truly has the most admirable qualities that I only wish I could have!
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, I had parent teacher conferences from 4-7 every night at school. It was rough to be at school 12 hours three days in a row. Somehow this big pregnant lady survived! Kason was so sweet to take care of me when I got home each night. I sure miss him when we spend that many hours apart during the day. Especially now that I feel so uncomfortable, he seems to be the only thing that makes me feel better!

Week 31
Week 31
Week 31:
- This week our handsome baby boy is the size of a pineapple! I sure can feel him move ALL the time! Sometimes Kason even sees my belly moving and we both just look at each other with big wide eyes!
- Saturday, was the baby shower down in Bunkerville. My mom, Natilyn, Chianne, and Kara did such a great job putting it together. There were so many nice people who came and my car was filled to the max with things for Wrekker! The diaper raffle was a huge success! We have a whole entire closet and drawer full of diapers! I hope they last longer than they probably actually will ha ha ha.
- Monday, we went to dinner at Pancho and Leftys and then went to help Kelton mow grandpas lawn. Kelli and I ran some errands and went to Target while the boys worked.
- I know this is gross to put on my public blog... But Im like 99.9% sure I lost my mucous plug today and Im hoping this cute boy really isnt that ready to come out just yet!
- Thursday, we went to our Dr. Appointment and I told them I had been having pretty uncomfortable contractions lately after school and that I know he is turned head down because I have so much pressure! They had me do a few tests and then took us in for an ultrasound. They couldnt even do it over my belly because Wrekker is so low on my cervix that they cant see anything! So they did an internal ultrasound and told us that he really was super low and the reason I felt like I was holding him in at times.. Is because I basically am! Ha ha ha he told us to try and go 4 more weeks and we would assess it then, but if I felt too uncomfortable to come right in! I just want to get to a week that is safe to have him and then he can come at any time! :)

Week 21
Week 21
Week 21:
- This week Wrekker is 8 inches long and weighs 1 whole pound!
- We started out our weekend by going to our first rodeo of the summer! The Cedar City Rodeo. It was a lot of fun! We cant wait to take Wrekker along with us so he can love it as much as we do!
- After the rodeo it was late and we were feeling adventurous so we got a hotel and stayed the night. One of Kasons friends wife works there and she was so sweet to hook us up! We enjoyed our fun night get away!
- Sunday, was Fathers Day. We planned dinner with Kelton on Sunday night which was so yummy! We had fun hanging out with Kade and Syd and Kelli and Kelton.
- Monday, we planned to spend Fathers Day with my dad and we went down to Bunkerville and swam and played volleyball and ate dinner. It was a blast! Water volleyball sure gets crazy at our house!
- I helped Kelli finish sanding and painting her desk for her play room. I wish we would have taken before and after pictures it looks SO good! Now if only I would finish Wrekkers ha ha ha I know, youre probably sick of hearing that each week!
- I made my first loaf of banana bread. It was amazing and so incredibly yummy! I had it waiting for Kason right out of the oven for when he walked in the door from work! He was super pleased!
- Thursday, my mom planned a girls spa day at her house! I was so excited! My mom, me, Chianne, and Nat all gave each other pedicures and we had yummy sandwiches and pins coladas by the pool while we laid out! It was so lovely and so much fun! I think we should do it every week?!

FXB Week 4
FXB Week 4
Four weeks done. Boom! Only one week to go before Week 5 testing. Never been so excited for a test in my life! I expect to nail it. Just sayin.
Not much new this week, honestly. The feeling of utter exhaustion has subsided a little so thats good though cant say its because my sleep has improved. I think Im just adjusting to this schedule a little better.
Though having said that, this week, for the first time since I started, I experienced the alarm clock going off and me feeling like I wanted roll over, say "to hell with it," and go back to sleep. It was tempting....soooooo, tempting..... and then I had a little flash in my mind of the ab muscles that are starting to pop out and with that, my legs just started swinging out of the bed on their own. Cant say I BOUNDED in to class with extreme exuberance that day but I was there and pushing myself. Well, and Erika, my buddy, pushed me too. She was working out behind me and she must have seen in the mirror the look on my face that said, "I dont think I can do even one more of these let alone 8. I want to give up." and I was on the verge of dropping my band. Then I heard, "You can do it, Kelly." And I finished the set (it wasnt beautiful but I finished).
I purchased a FitBit Surge and am loving it. Still trying to figure out the optimal way to wear it on kickboxing days as its a little bulky under my boxing glove. But the stats that it produces are awesome and I love that it auto syncs to the phone app. And it also syncs with my Virgin Pulse account for my work/health insurance stuff so I dont have to wear two pedometers any more! AND, both my sisters have a FitBit so we are "FitBit Friends" which is to say my competitive bone is engaged when I can see their 7-day step counts and I try to beat them. So far I am not winning! Grr. Anyone else wants to be my FitBit friend, let me know! I will likely trash talk you so be warned.
We were introduced to Fun Friday this week as well. I had no clue what "fun" meant in this context so I was a tad skeptical. Turns out, its AWESOME. Best workout Ive had so far and definitely the most fun Ive had so far. This weeks "fun" was that the punching bags were set up in a line and you ran down the line punching, kicking, etc each bag per the instructors direction. When you got to the end of the line, you ran back to the beginning. For 30 solid minutes. Thanks to my new FitBit (this sounds like an infomercial - I should get paid), I could easily compare the intensity of my workouts. The photo on the left is a "regular" kickboxing day (clearly I need to step it up - Im a little embarrassed to post that). The photo on the right is from fun Friday - where I had NO CHOICE but to step it up cause there was a line of people behind me waiting to punch and kick the bag I was standing at. 100 additional calories burned. INSANE. I. LOVED. IT.

And THAT, my friends, is why this FXB thing is so great.
And punching stuff. Thats great too.

INSANE. I. LOVED. IT.
We were also introduced to "Sally Squats" this week. Which totally sucked and was totally awesome all at the same time. If you can reconcile that. Theres nothing special to the "squat" part of this move. Its just regular squats - but you do them to the Moby song, "Flower," which essentially just says "Bring Sally up" and "Bring Sally down" over and over again. So you can guess what you do when each line is sung...heres an example on YouTube in case you want to know what it looks like - except we use bands during our squats. I hear "Sally Pushups" are coming. I survived Sally squats - barely - the thought of Sally pushups makes me want to puke!
And heres Wacky Sock Wednesday - Week 4. I have to say that we 5amers are WEAK and UNIMAGINATIVE when it comes to our pose. I think most of us are barely awake. I blame that. Also, you can see that my pondering on whether St Pats Day socks constitute "wacky" did not have an impact to my sock wardrobe. Still sportin the shamrocks.

It might be premature to say this and I should probably save it until my Week 10 post, but Im going to say it now anyway. My life is changed. I thought my life was changed before with the weight loss. And it was. Totally was. But this exercise thing brings it to a whole new level of "changed." I feel compelled to write this down. I have to document this feeling of pride and strength and confidence because I have a long life ahead of me of trying to be healthy, eat right and exercise. There is so much potential to slip at some time in the future and go backwards. If that ever happens, I need to be able to read these posts and remind myself of this feeling so Ill be motivated to get back here. This blog is a piece of my accountability.
