Return of the tooth fairy
After a few days of wobbling and difficulty eating chewy foods, Matthews second tooth fell out last night while he was asleep. He was upset when he got up this morning because he thought hed swallowed it, but Louise found it in the bed. Louise told him she swallowed one of her baby teeth when she was young, which is probably why he was worried.
So tonight I had to telephone the tooth fairy to make sure they knew that the tooth is ready to collect, and Matthew wanted to know how I knew the phone number. Thankfully, the Internet once again came to the rescue.
This time, instead of putting the tooth in his slipper, Matthew has put it under his pillow in the traditional place, because this is where Ethan has told him it should go.
