Week 28:

This week Baby Wrekker is a little more than 2.5 pounds and almost 16 inches long! It is crazy to think there is a 16 inch baby squirming around in this big belly of mine. I am only at 9 pounds gained since I found out I was pregnant. I havent decided if that is good or bad. Everyone keeps telling me I look incredibly small for being 28 weeks pregnant...Which you would think makes me feel fabulous, but then my brain starts telling me that I must be doing something wrong and maybe that is why Wrekker is too small...

This weekend Kason let me buy an old banged up desk on the online yard sale page for $20. Ever since my mom came and we busted out our sewing machines I decided no seemstress deserves to sew on a fold out plastic table.... ha ha ha. We brought our desk home and I had it sanded and painted in a few hours! Kason was a sweetheart and did most of the sanding since my big huge belly tends to get in the way of, well, everything! We painted it coral pink! EEEK! I know! It is ADORABLE and looks so perfect in my sewing/guest room. I guess I need to officially learn to sew now that I am legit right?
Monday, was my first official day back at school. This is the week that teachers come before school starts next week. We had meetings, meetings, and more meetings. I spent a lot of time here after school and at night because we literally didnt even have time to work in our rooms, that is how ridiculous our meetings were! Part of our dress code is that we cant wear open toed shoes, so on my first day back I tried to squeeze into my flats (for the first time all summer) and I wore them gracefully for a few hours and then seriously couldnt walk anymore. I have fat feet syndrome....do you think Dr.s will write notes for things like that? ha ha ha I think I am going to ask at our appointment this week!

Tuesday, we went to our 28 week appointment. From here on our is when our monitoring on Wrekker starts to make sure that he is keeping up in his size and weight. The doctor is nuts and said that really any baby born after 28 weeks is totally fine..... ha ha ha I almost died! I am ready to have this baby... but not this week! :) We had to do our glucose test while we were there. We scheduled it for 8am because we both were supposed to be at work today. The test took an hour, you had to drink this orange drink and just wait it out until the hour was up. The drink itself wasnt even gross, but a few minutes into it, I started feeling really sick. I thought I was going to pass out. I just kept pacing the floor and Kason Im sure just kept putting up with me. Then we had to draw blood and get a tetnis shot.....yuck! I am such a baby. I hate shots! I think I almost would rather feel every inch of this baby come out of me, than know they are sticking a needle in me for the epidural! Our glucose results came back just fine and Wrekker showed some good improvements! We got to see his cute little face in the ultrasound. I cant stop looking at it. I PRAY he looks just like Kason. My heart will just melt if he is even half as handsome as my sweet husband.

I think this week I started having my first meet and greet with Braxton Hicks. My belly would get so hard and be so uncomfortable. Sometimes I feel like my belly doesnt grow fast enough for the big guy inside of it! I know real contractions will be much worse, but these have been very unpleasant the last few days.
