Party time
Party time
Matthew enjoyed himself this morning at his friend Ethans 5th birthday party. He was a little shy to start with, but joined in with all the activities as soon as the entertainment started. Fortunately there were no activities for the adults at the party so we were able just to sit and watch Matthew and his friends have fun for an hour or so before the buffet was served. The entertainer also cleverly prevented any scenes by playing games such as musical statues and not eliminating any children, so they all "won".
Ethan had a Power Rangers themed party, and a Power Ranger turned up at the party to help with the activities and also brought in the cake. The children had fund copying superhero themed actions to music, which Matthew particularly enjoyed.
The entertainer was also making things with balloons and made Matthew a balloon sword, which he enjoyed using to pretend swordfight with his friends at the end.
