Week 36
Week 36
Week 36:
- This week Wrekker is the size of a WATERMELON! He is growing a half of an ounce every single day! Boy oh boy sometimes I feel like I am doing the same! I am currently at 14 pounds total weight gain. I am not complaining, I still think I look pretty good. I feel like my legs and bum are pretty jiggly but I suppose that is what milk duds and Dr. Pepper can do to you!
- Friday, my meetings at work got canceled and so they told us we could leave early! I was super excited! They had pizza for us in the lunchroom and so I went and grabbed a piece and on my way back to my room to get my stuff another teacher told me she needed my help. I followed her into her room where the lights were off, when I walked in my ENTIRE class and their sweet moms jumped up and surprised me! They threw me a baby shower and I had no idea! It was the sweetest thing! We played a few games. One of the games they had to blow up a balloon and place it inside their shirt so they could see how hard it was to be pregnant. Then they had to take their shoes off and put them back on ha ha ha it was seriously the funniest thing I have ever seen! I went home with a car full of gifts! I couldnt help but feel so overwhelmed as I drove home at how blessed Kason and I are and how loved our sweet baby boy is already!
- Saturday, I was in a pretty big nesting mood. I cleaned our baseboards, and mopped the tile, and cleaned all the bathrooms, I think I did 7 loads of laundry, including blankets and pillows and all sorts of things! Kason thought I was a crazy lady! I even decorated our house with all of our Fall decorations. It looks so great! I wish we would have this baby so our house could be so spotless when he came! We will see if we can keep it that way for a few weeks!
- Kason and I have been reading scriptures and saying nightly prayers in Wrekkers room for the last little while and I cant even begin to describe the peace and love that it has brought into our home. To see my sweet husband sitting in the rocking chair teaching me the incredible amounts of knowledge he knows about the scriptures has made me so grateful for him and that he gets to be such a great example for Wrekker and our family. We feel so ready to have him join our home and we hope that we can be the strong parents that he needs. We are so grateful for the gospel in our lives and feel such a sweet spirit in our home as we prepare to meet Wrekker.
- Monday, we were super lazy. We both came home in such a good mood though. I really cant explain how peaceful our home has been. Not that Kason and I arent always fun and peaceful, but there is just a definite difference that we have both felt lately. We laughed and played around and then had left over spaghetti for dinner. Kason went and shot his bow and let me take a quick nap on the couch. I have been so exhausted lately. I feel so lazy at school, but I seriously have no energy!
- Tuesday, I woke up around 1am having a few contractions. I laid there to try and get them to pass but they were pretty sharp. I got in the bath and tried to relax for a little bit. I finally fell back asleep around 4. While I was making lunches in the morning before work though, I felt them come back again. It is exciting to think that any time could be "IT" from here on out!
