Birthday visit from the tooth fairy
Birthday visit from the tooth fairy
Matthews first tooth finally fell out last night - the bottom centre left - and so the tooth fairy paid him a visit and left £1. Matthew may have given the tooth a helping hand, as he had told us earlier in the week that his teeth werent quite as wobbly. He started screaming after being put to bed and Louise found him with his tooth turned halfway round in the socket and his gum bleeding. Louise took him downstairs and as she put him on her lap the tooth fell out.
Instead of putting his tooth under the pillow, he put it in his slipper! This is likely to have made it easier for the tooth fairy to exchange the tooth for the coin without disturbing Matthew.
Today is Matthews 5th birthday, and to celebrate he took a Monsters University cake into school. He enjoyed sharing the cake and brought home enough for him to have a second piece, and for us to share the rest with the family, who came round after school. This year the theme has been Planes and Ninja Turtles - Matthew had model planes and Turtles to play with as well as games, duvet and pyjamas.
