Back to school!
Back to school!
It only seems like yesterday that Matthew broke up for the summer holidays, but today he went back to school to start his second year. Im sure the holidays seemed longer to Matthew - I remember the 6 weeks taking ages when I was in school - but he was happy to go back today and was even in a surprisingly good mood this evening.
Matthew is still in Reception for another year, and is now the oldest in his year as all of the older children have moved up to Year 1. Unfortunately that includes Matthews best friends Isaac and Ethan, and so hell have to make some new friends this year. He was quite happy about this tonight, though, and so hopefully it wont be a big issue. Hes now getting very excited about his birthday on Thursday and told me this evening that he "couldnt wait" while jumping up and down and grinning.
