Swimming into group 2
Swimming into group 2
Matthew is moving up into group 2 for his swimming lessons from next week. Yesterday he impressed his teacher by finally swimming without a float on his front, and using his hands as well as his legs to paddle. He was also able to swim on his back using the float and was really pleased to have been told he can move up a group next week. Its taken him 13 months to progress up a group, but this is probably because we never take him swimming outside of the classes so he doesnt have a chance to practice. This is because of my eczema, and because Louise is unable to swim.
Matthew is so tall for his age that Louise has had to buy him clothes for ages 8 - 9. Hes outgrown his trousers for age 6 - 7 and will probably need to skip a size because hes also a bit tall for the age 7 - 8. The only problem with the larger size is that the waist is too large.
