Pirate Gran
I took Matthew to see a live stage show adaptation of Pirate Gran yesterday (hes never read the book). He asked to go, so I bought tickets, but then changed his mind before the day. When I told him that he had to go because Id bought tickets he was fine, but he did tell me that he was nervous when we arrived (”I am OK, but my tummy is a bit scared”).
Due to a mix up we had to wait half an hour before going in to see the show, and we were sitting right at the front. The show was very good - well acted and quite funny -
and Matthew seemed to enjoy it, joining in with some of the activities such as pointing towards the crocodile who was hiding. He told me afterwards that he liked it, but said to Louise that he wasnt sure; I think he prefers the cinema because hes a bit scared of being picked on during live shows.
