13F and Shaun the Sheep
13F and Shaun the Sheep
I took Matthew to town this morning to watch the Shaun the Sheep movie. As we had time before the film, I took him to have his feet measured and found that hed grown a size and is now 13F. Unfortunately Matthew was limited in the choice of shoes available, as the fun young childrens trainers with dinosaur prints are only available up to size 12½. Of those in the right size, we were discouraged from choosing a further couple of designs because the assistant thought Matthews heel would be too narrow and they wouldnt fit well. This left one pair which fitted the bill, and fortunately Matthew was very keen on them as his friend Isaac has a pair, so we bought them. They are smart black trainer shoes with flashing red lights.
The film was very good and we both enjoyed it. Matthew managed to polish off a Harvester meal, side salad (i.e. pasta and croutons but no salad!), and ice cream afterwards, which surprised me as he had also eaten popcorn and a small Milky Way in the cinema, and a biscuit in M&S coffee shop! I was also surprised he didnt choose sausages for his dinner, instead preferring the chicken wings. He should be back to healthier food after the half term break is over!
