Hey Baby Lets Go To Vegas!

So this last weekend on September 28-30, we decided that it would be fun to go down and spend the weekend with Kiley and Brandon and the kids and have some fun while we were there. We havent been down to their house for almost a whole year! We are horrible! We love going down there and were reminded why so many times! The McDonald house is so peaceful and relaxing. You would think that it might be a little chaotic having so many people under one roof, but we really do enjoy being with everyone and so it makes it such a blast! We went down with Kelli, because we really though Kiley would have her baby while we were there. We got there on Friday night and she babysat while Kas, I, Brandon and Kiley went out to dinner. We went to a yummy Mexican Restaurant. Kas and I sleep on the "L" shaped couch ha ha ha so we cuddle until we are both too uncozy and then just fall asleep. I felt like Rose letting go of Jacks hand into the ocean at the end of Titanic as we both went our separate ways onto the couch. HA HA Okay.. maybe not that cheesy, but pretty close!

Saturday morning we woke up to the sounds of cute little monsters climbing on our faces. I cant wait until that is an everyday occurrence in our very own Prisbrey home. We were pretty much bums all day which was kind of nice. We finally got up and dressed and decided that we were going to go to the South Point Casino for lunch and bowling. It was just a few minutes from their house so we all piled in the car and headed out. We ate at a place called Steaks and Shakes. It was a little burger joint and was super yummy! The bowling alley was HUGE! It was super fun, Kas and I really enjoy bowling. We decided that we should go once a week to get us out of the house more!....and so he can start beating me :) ha ha ha I beat him the first game! The only reason I lost the second game, is because I was sick of bowling! ha ha ha dont let him tell you any different either! After that we went back to their house and Kason and I decided we wanted to go ride the rides on the stratosphere.WHAT WERE WE THINKING!? We headed down town and it was so fun being out on the town with him. There are so many weirdos in this world! We parked and waited in line for our tickets. I was starting to get really nervous! We finally made it up to the very top and it was breathtaking! It was so pretty! I had never been up there before and it was totally worth the nerves! We decided we would ride the "Big Shot" first. It is the ride at the very, very, VERY top that shoots you up into the sky and then abruptly stops you as you come back down.This was the WORST ride! ha ha ha once they had us strapped in I was terrified. I was acting so brave but I secretly wanted to get off. The ride took our feet off the ground and we knew any second we were going to go soaring. We said our good byes and I love yous and off we went! I had forgotten to take off my long gold heart necklace and it flew all the way off my head and when we came back down it literally fell right back into its place on my neck.. and then bounced up and hit me in the nose. I couldnt believe I had lost it and it came right back! That folks is how fast and high we were up there! ha ha ha. We both were a little jittery after this ride. It sent us up so high that a helicopter that was doing tours of the stratosphere flew by and we were higher than it! I bet they thought my face was priceless. The second ride was called the X-Scream...psh. I wonder why! It was a small little roller coaster track that was maybe 30 yards long and you get into the cart, which could hold maybe 8 people. Then it shoots you out over the edge even past the end of the track and you just hang. Then it rolls you back and you do it again, except this time the track is on a downward angle over the building and it goes even faster! I leaned over to Kason once I had opened my eyes again and told him I didnt even want to THINK about the science and physics behind this ride...eek! The final ride was called Insanity. We had to sit in these chairs and then this arm took you out and swung you over the building into midair. It was crazy! It was fun because Kas and I got to sit next to each other and it was pretty mind blowing to think that we were just hanging over nothing. The crazy guy next to us snuck his camera on the ride and was taking pictures and that made the ride operators pretty upset. They stopped the ride and had security guards waiting for him.They didnt even let us finish the ride or refund us with another one! We were kind of bummed! We didnt want to be in charge of anything to hold while we were up there and so we didnt take our phones or cameras. We dont have any pictures of us but I have these pictures of the rides so you can see how brave and amazing we are!

Sunday morning we slept in a little and hung out in our pajamas all day. Then we packed up and went to dinner at Outback because everyone had been fasting (ha ha ha what a great way to break your fast huh) we are horrible... Then we sadly said goodbye and drove home. No baby McDonald yet!
