Matthew went to a different type of birthday party this afternoon - his friend Steffan had a gymnastics party. It took us a while to find the place, but we did make it on time in the end which was just as well as Matthew was desperate for the toilet by the time we arrived!
The party only lasted for an hour and started with a warm up, where the children had to sit on a large mat in the centre of the gym while a lady led them in a few exercises, and then they were allowed to play on the equipment. Matthew didnt know any of the children except Steffan, but was happy to run round on his own and had fun playing on the small trampolines, with the hoops and even had a go at walking along a raised bar with some assistance from Steffans mum.
