Blazing cheeks
After several years of peace, Matthew woke us up again last night for the third or fourth time in the last few weeks. Once again he wasnt feeling well, and complained of stomach ache, but went back to sleep after Louise went to see to him.
He seemed a bit better this morning and went to school, but came home this afternoon with blazing red cheeks, and had a fever. He ended up going to bed, but was well enough to watch television and play on his Leap Pad. Apparently his friend Isaac has been ill since Saturday and became so bad his mother thought he had meningitis, but has now started to improve. Louise took Daniel to the doctors surgery this morning for an unrelated problem (a rash), and while there another boy from Matthews school was carried in. Some people think the mild weather has been the cause of all the bugs around this winter, but Im sure Ive heard in past winters that the cold weather is to blame...
