Find Kardus

Matthew returned yesterday from his family holiday to Alton Towers, where we took the boys to see the new CBeebies Land.  It was the first time we had taken Daniel away, and so also the first holiday when Matthew hadnt been the centre of attention; he behaved well considering, and I think he enjoyed having his little brother to play with in the hotel room.

Matthew enjoyed all the rides at CBeebies Land, and seemed very happy to meet Iggle Piggle and Upsy Daisy, even though this part of the visit was aimed more at Daniel.  He was also able to do a few things that Daniel was too young for, such as go into Justins House.  Matthew also had his photo taken with Tree Fu Tom, and watched the Mike The Knight and ZingZillas shows.

We had enough time on the second day of our visit to go into the main Alton Towers theme park, where Matthew had a go at the Driving School and received an Alton Towers driving licence, and also came with me on the Sky Ride cable car, and the pirate ships (Daniel was too young for these).  He had his photo taken with Sid from Ice Age and joined us for a walk in the gardens.
