My thoughtful mom sent me a text message and said that this is on sale. She wants to buy it for me. Perfect timing because I want a new pair of sneakers.I made the mistake of asking my 6-year old son if this suits me. He told me that its for teenagers. Ouch! Shot to the heart! Ha! Ha! Oh well, Im still young at heart.

Random Friday
This week has got me thinking that we may definitely have a very very cold winter if our Fall is already this cold! It has been rainy and in the 40s all week! I do love the changing of the seasons, especially right now the trees are just beautiful!
Yesterday I was 23 weeks pregnant, yay! Moving right along! I had been doing the pregnancy post every week, but not much has been changing so I think I will start doing it every few weeks! I go to the DR next week so I will post then! Everything is going great!
This week we have spent alot of time inside playing, working puzzles, coloring, reading, and painting! I love my days that I am able to spend with Brody and I am so thankful. I cant wait to have two boys to spend my days with.
Didnt really have my camera out any this week but I caught everything on my phone of course.. so here are pictures from my phone.
Brodys favorite toys are his hot rods. We have hundreds of them really. He takes some everywhere we go. He has a thing with lining them up, he does it multiple times a day.
On Tuesday evening we went to Morehead to watch the Ky Big Blue All Star game against KCU. Brody loved it! It was a great game!
He just looked so precious and peaceful sleeping!
See what I mean? Lots of cars (not even half of them) and he loves sorting them and lining them up!
So excited about my scarves I got in yesterday from Marley Lilly! Love love love them! Cant wait to wear them!

Well, we had originally hoped to drive up to Canada Tuesday (the 15th) but found out that the earliest the Cleveland Clinic Pain Center could reschedule my pump refill was Tuesday morning. Then, I thought I should stay to teach my class last evening and we would go today. But if were waiting until Thursday, we might as well wait until tomorrow (Friday) when Brent can drive up with us and help me get settled. Sue sent me a photo of my room - it was absolutely full of boxes so Im hoping its a joke but just in case it isnt, Brent will be a big help!
This week, Ive started naming the different behaviors - sit, down, stand and touch. Ive never started deliberately training a puppy so young and this is so much fun! You can literally see Hardy figure out what Im asking and he enjoys his training meals as much as I do!

Connor weighed 13lbs, 13oz at his well visit today! Hes 90th percentile for weight and head circumference, and 75% for height. Nice healthy little chunkers!
The vaccine shots made him pretty cranky and fussy but he was much better once the Tylenol kicked in.

A lot of people use Black Friday to get good deals on Christmas gifts. Many narrow their gaze to electronics, toys, and clothes. Did you know that this is also an amazing time to stock up on household items?
Use Black Friday to pick up great deals on:
Pillows
Sheets
Blankets, Quilts and Comforters
Underwear and Socks
Complete Bedding Sets
Curtains
Towels and Wash Cloths
Candles
What is even better is that most of these items do not have some sort of time-frame for great deals. You can shop online or in store later in the day on Black Friday and still stock your home on a yearly basis! These items are not forever items and its best to save as much as you can while still splurging on good quality.
Two years ago, I got onto Kohls.com, bought high thread-count sheets and pillows for about $30 with free shipping and I am now ready to refresh our pillows and sheets with new ones! Something that would have cost me $70-100 was $30. THAT is how you shop Black Friday!
Next year, set up a month amount that you transfer into a savings account for Black Friday shopping. Include an extra $10 and use that $110 to stock up your house on items you use on a daily basis!
Maybe pick up a few towels and sheets so that you can donate them to a local homeless, womens or mens shelter. I bet they would really appreciate it.
